FLAX MILL FIELD Map
RTE 139 AND FLAX MILL ROAD

I-95 North

1. To exit 55
2. Take right at bottom of exit ramp.

3. At the second light take left onto Route 139.

4. Go North on 139 appx. ½ mile and look for a sign along the right side of the road reading “Flax Mill Soccer Field”. You’ll also see sign for Vosburgh Storage.

5. Take a left at the sign.

6. Follow the road around to the right as you go through an industrial park area. As you get to the back of the industrial park and the road turns to dirt, you will abruptly turn left into the woods. DO NOT GO STRAIGHT, which is a rutted dirt road heading up an incline. Take the sharp left (you'll go by a swinging metal fence) and wind through the woods to Flax Mill Field.

I-95 South

1. To exit 55
2. Take left off exit ramp.

3. At first light take a left onto Route 139.

4. Go North on 139 appx. ½ mile and look for a sign along the right side of the road reading “Flax Mill Soccer Field”. You’ll also see sign for Vosburgh Storage.

5. Take a left at the sign.

6. Follow the road around to the right as you go through an industrial park area. As you get to the back of the industrial park and the road turns to dirt, you will abruptly turn left into the woods. NOTE: Parking is often tight, especially if two games are in progress. Be prepared to park along the side of the entrance road and walk a few hundred feet. If parking along the side of the road, please park as far off to the side as possible. Thanks.

VETERAN'S FIELD
BRUSHY PLAIN ROAD (CEDAR STREET EXIT)

I-95 North 

1. Go to exit 54, Cedar Street.

2. Take a left off at end of the ramp.

3. Go  under I-95 overpass, up the hill, past Mary T. Murphy Elementary School. About ½ mile past Murphy Elementary you will see Veteran’s Memorial Park on your left.

I-95 South 

1. Go to Exit 54, Cedar Street.

2. Take a right at end of the ramp.

3. Drive up the hill, past Mary T. Murphy Elementary School. About ½ mile past Murphy Elementary you will see Veteran’s Memorial Park on your left.

BRANFORD HIGH SCHOOL Map 
EAST MAIN STREET

I-95 North:

1. Go to Exit 54, Cedar Street.

2.  At end of exit take a right and go straight to your next traffic light, staying to your left.

3. At that light (A Mobil station is on your left), take a left onto Route 1 North.

4. Proceed on Route 1 to your second traffic light (with an Alliance/Global service station on your right and a Dunkin' Donuts directly ahead). At that light, take a hard right around the service station. (Almost a U-turn)

5. About 500 feet on your left you will see Branford High School. Enter using the first driveway and go to the back of the school. The field is located in the back and there is ample parking to the left as you enter the complex.

I-95 South:

1. Go to exit 55.

2. At end of exit take a right.

3. Pass under the highway and proceed to your fifth light. (A Dunkin Donuts will be on your left and a Alliance/Global gas station will be directly ahead.) This is a "Y" intersection, you need to bear LEFT

4. About 500 feet on your left you will see Branford High School. Enter using the first driveway and go to the back of the school. The field is located in the back and there is ample parking to the left as you enter the complex.

WALSH INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL 
185 DAMASCUS ROAD

I-95 North

1. Go to Exit 55.

2. At the end of the ramp, take a left onto Route 1.

3. Continue through one traffic light. At the second traffic light take a left onto Windmill Hill Road. (On the left corner is a Mobil gas station).

4. Go all the way to the stop sign at the end of the road and take a left onto Damascus Road.

5. Go appx. 500 feet on Damascus Road and Walsh Intermediate School will be on your right. The soccer field is in the rear (right) of the school. Behind the small parking lot.

I-95 South

1. Go to Exit 55.

2. At the end of the exit ramp, take a right at the light onto Route 1. 

3. Pass under the highway and proceed to your third light, taking a left onto Windmill Hill Road. (On the left corner is a Mobil gas station).

4. Go all the way to the stop sign at the end of the road and take a left onto Damascus Road.

5. Go appx. 500 feet on Damascus Road and Walsh Intermediate School will be on your right. The soccer field is in the rear (right) of the school. Behind the small parking lot.

NOTE: There is a small parking lot near the street. If that is full, there is a larger parking area around the left hand side of the school.  Please Do NOT PARK IN FRONT OF THE Building
