Branford Soccer Club Refund Policy
Branford Soccer Club (“BSC”) is committed to providing a positive, well-organized soccer experience for all players and families. Because program expenses are incurred before the season begins, the following refund policy applies to all registrations.
General Refund Guidelines
- All refund requests must be submitted in writing to the BSC Board or Registrar.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method when possible.
- Please allow 10–14 business days for processing.
- Non-refundable items: uniforms, late fees, fundraising fees, and credit card processing fees.
Refund Eligibility
Regular Registration/Prior to late fees
- 100% refund of registration fees, minus a $20 administrative fee.
Late Registration until first practice
- 50% refund of registration fees, minus the $20 administrative fee.
After the First Scheduled Practice Begins
- No refunds will be issued.
Conduct & Behavior Policy (No-Refund Dismissal)
· Branford Soccer Club expects all players, parents, and spectators to uphold a high standard of sportsmanship and respect.
· BSC reserves the right to suspend or terminate a player’s registration at any time for:
- Repeated or severe misconduct
- Violations of club policies or league rules
- Behavior that jeopardizes the safety or wellbeing of others
- Parent/guardian behavior that disrupts the program
- If registration is terminated for behavioral reasons, no refund will be given.
Special Circumstances
Refund requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis for:
Season-ending injury or illness (doctor’s note required)
- Relocation out of the area
- Club-initiated cancellation of a program or team due to low enrollment (full refund issued)
BSC reserves full discretion in approving or denying special-circumstance requests.
Canceled or Postponed Sessions
- Weather cancellations, facility issues, or schedule adjustments do not qualify for refunds.
- The club will make reasonable efforts to reschedule; however, makeup sessions are not guaranteed.
